Too often we lose our chance at a 'one time' witness to someone. We are afraid that it might not be received graciously, or that we might be looked on as 'weird'. But, how will we
know unless we witness? How do we know that we aren't losing a chance to save a soul from hell? How do we know that the person isn't just looking for someone to talk to about the Lord?
The answer to all those questions is "We don't".
Today, I received the Sowing Seeds Ministry newsletter. In it, Rev. Davies mentions how he almost passed up a chance to
witness to a person, because he couldn't figure out just how to go about it. But, he knew he would either be condoning or seemingly approving of the person's actions. So, he prayed for
Godly wisdom and knowledge for the right words to come, so he could witness.
Too often we just dismiss the Spirit of God within us, urging us to witness. We fail to be obedient to God, fearing what might come of what we say and share. That's what the
devil wants. He sure doesn't want us to upset his 'apple cart', and try to guide people to a better way of life - the Godly life. If he has someone in his clutches, then he's going to do
everything in his power to keep them there. And, he's going to try everything he knows to keep a Christian from witnessing to that person. But, why should we fear what anyone thinks or says?
Who do we answer to, man or God? Man can only ridicule us for our actions.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Why not watch for the next opportunity to witness and be ready to talk about God. You may find that the person is eager to learn, and maybe in need of spiritual guidance. I am sure that
Rev. Davies was happy that he had made the right choice to witness right where he was - in a cashier's line, wanting to get out of the store in a hurry. But, when we take that extra moment to plant the seeds
of the gospel of Jesus Christ, then we are 'planting seeds' that will be watered by others, and slowly, but surely, those seeds will come up. God's word says that it will not come back to him void [ Isaiah 55:11 ].
