In His Time Weekly devotional by Barbara Sanders
Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Each day, when we wake up in the morning, our mind wonders to what we are going to do that day. I know there is housework to be done, clothes to wash, and, of course, my computing. I don't really look forward to the housework. I had rather do other things, but someone has to do it. I know if I don't roll out of the bed, making it up,
then, perhaps it won't get made that day.
Sometimes time seems to be on our side. Other times, we just can't get things done in the time frame we have allotted ourselves. I know I've been faced with rushing a job lots, because I wanted to get it done and not have to come back to it later. I am sure lots are faced with the same situations.
Time will run out one day. We need to pay heed to the Bible, and realize we won't be here forever. So we need to get our lives in order, and be sure that we are ready to meet the Lord, when we pass from this world. He doesn't promise us another day. The next breath we breathe could be our last.
In fact, He could return for His children, the saints that are living according to His biblical instructions. So pray and watch for the Lord each day. He may come today, next week, or next year. We don't know when, but we had better be ready.

| Heavenly Father, we know you are coming back soon for your people. Help us to stay ready, trusting in your Word, and prepared to meet you, when you do return. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen. |
