The Enron Company scandal has been in the news lately. Today, we heard than a former employee had been found in his car, shot to death. I heard, on the radio, that it was a suicide, with a suicide note left by his side.
But, tonight, they won't say what they think really happened. There was speculation that he knew things about Enron that were now gone to the grave with him.
There has been so many cases like this the past few years, with lots of innocent people hurt because of the loss of the integrity of others. SELF gets in the way, and they tend to do what will help them, rather than staying
in the realm of the law.
Satan is cunning, and he is transformed as an 'angel of light', and his ministers, as 'ministers of righteousness'. But, he is still satan and his workers still as dangerous and unspiritual as he is. We find him in all walks of life,
every neighborhood, and every country. He sneaks around, waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting. He doesn't care who he hurts. He only wants to advance to the top, because he knows his end is nearing. But, until the Lord comes, satan will be on the job.
Unless one is continually in the Word, and in touch with God, satan may have them bound. I've always heard the saying, 'if satan isn't after you, he has you already'. He is interested on getting all those he can to separate themselves from the true God.
He will use the Word to separate you, although, as he did with Eve, he doesn't give you the true Word. He deviates from the truth just enough that he won't be caught by someone who isn't into the Word enough to recognize his deception.
Transformation can take place in your life, from the sinful life to 'saved by grace'. If you don't know God, and you've been swindled by the enemy, check out the Bible, and come to know the Savior through the Word.
