There's A Holy War Going On!

Psalms 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

The Bible speaks of 'wars and rumors of wars'[ Matthew 24:6 ], but the end is not yet. We've seen more wars in the past few years, continously, than in any other time in our history. Terrorism has brought on a war we didn't think we would ever see. The Palestianians and Israelies are in a war over land and recognition. Today, I came across an ABC News article talking about Preparing for Jihad in Alabama - an alleged terror-training camp in Alabama. I was sort of stunned, but not surprised, considering I had heard this several years ago, but, we had no hard evidence to support the allegations by this person. But, seems it was true! And, it's being said that there are more over the country. It's believed that this camp was training people to attack Americans, for whom they have hate. The mere talk of war gets some people all up in arms, worrying about what might happen to our country, or to our people. I believe war has always gone on, in one capacity or another. They all weren't fought with tanks and airplanes; some were fought only with bows and arrows. Others were fought on horseback, or perhaps on the muddy roads leading 'home'. There have been wars on our own shores, and in other countries in which our soldiers have taken part. Many of our children have been lost to war. And, it still rages on! Ephesians 6:11-12 tells us to put on the full armor of God so that we might be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." The wars and rumors of wars are happening, and I do believe we are near the coming of the Lord. There truly is a Holy war going on between God's people and the devil. He knows his time is running out, and he is doing everything in his power to stop the inevitable!
