How many times have you longed after the serenity of another? Sometimes, others make life seem so pleasant, so easy going, without a care. Their life seems without problems, no worry, no hassles. But, have you ever really watched that person long enough to know what their life is really like?
Things are not always what they seem. Many times that unruffled person that you see has interior that is all ruffled. The exterior picture that you may see is not always what the person is about. Sometimes it's the face they put on to the public, and are not at all as sure of themselves as they seem to us to be. I was always told 'never judge a book by it's cover'. Likewise, never take a person's exterior as the real one, until you really know that person.
Satan has a way of making things seem right. He can make your life seem such a joy, until he gets you in his clutches, then he can make your life a living hell. He knows just what buttons to push and when. He knows how to serve man, I kid you not! But, man needs to be in tune with God, that when satan comes knocking, he knows how to put him on the road! So, until you know God is working in a person, never long to be like them - long to be like Christ!
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
