I opened up my Guestbook email this morning to find a simple email from a user of my web site. The message was "I will return!". Now, that might not seem a lot to some people, but written in a Guestbook with an exclamation mark following means lots to web site owner. To me, it meant they found something they liked enough to come back again.
When we leave our friends' home, we might say that we will return. They know us well enough to know that, if we say something, then we mean it. I've often said that I 'would return' to a specific place where we've spent some time on vacation. It's simply because the place made a good impression on me, or perhaps the people there were very friendly. Many things makes us want to 'return' to a specific place.
One day, the man from Galilee said, "I will come again". And, I believe His returning is closer than we realize. So many things were to happen, and then He would return. Many, if not all, of those things have occurred. We've seen so much desolation in this world, so much terrorism, famine, earthquakes and other things that point to His soon return. He said He would return, and that's sufficient for me to know that I have to be on my guard because the enemy is out to get all those he can. Stay prepared people; He is coming back after those that endure!
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
