I know you've been met with that question many times, on many different things. Certain things that you encounter about a given subject may make you question it's believability - 'is it real?'
I've been reading 'The Faith of George W. Bush' by author Stephen Mansfield. I recommend this book highly, if you want to really know your President. Is His faith real? I truly believe he is a man of God, been called for this time and season of our lives. He is no pretender and isn't afraid to proclaim Jesus Christ as the reason he is where he is today. He said he had a 'higher calling', and he listened, he ran for President, and we have George Bush in the White House.
Our faith is based on our persuasion. Hopefully, our Christian faith is based on the truths of the Bible. Knowledge of the scripture comes through hearing the Word, reading the Word, and studying the Word - getting it deep within yourself. According to the book, George W. Bush began studying with a Bible Study group in his hometown, when he realized he needed to know more about the Word. And he is surrounded by Godly men to whom he looks for guidance, building his faith along the way.
Does your faith need building? Have you lost hope in something? Are you questioning 'is it real?' My friend, it's real. God is our provider, our mainstay here on earth. His Word will instill in us the reality that HE is the only way to have true peace here on earth. Get in the Word faithfully today, and let God open your eyes to true faith!!
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Phillipians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
