Last week I talked about satan, the thief, who comes but to steal, kill and destroy. But thieves usually get
caught! And in this instance, one of them has been caught, with part of the goods, thank the Lord!
The bible talks about a "thief in the night", not coming to steal, but coming for his children when he comes to get the BRIDE, his
church of spotless, unblemished, born-again Christians that have not been ashamed to stand up for what is right and acceptable
with the Lord - the Truth!
1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Christ has not revealed his time of coming to us. It will be a terrible day for the ungodly, but a great day for the righteous -
those walking in the light of His Word. We know not the day nor the hour, but the bible says we can know by the seasons, if we
watch and wait for His coming.
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
God is the God of our salvation through His Grace, and He is the God of mercy....
Psalms 86:15 But thou, O Lord, [art] a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
God is the one that will bring us through all our trials, sustain us through them all, and be there with a helping hand. He is the God of
enough. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
Psalms 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help.
Psalms 146:5 Happy [is he] that [hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope [is] in the LORD his God:
| Heavenly Father, help me to always abide in you, to put my trust in you, and always uphold the Truth of
your Word. Guide my path that I might stay within that spiritual realm where you would have me to be at all times, that I might never lose
sight of the Truth that forever flows through your Holy Word, and that I might be ready as that day fastly approaches when you call your
children home to reign with you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. |
