Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Isaiah 1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Are YOU the Living Word in action? Are YOU like Jesus? HE was the Word in action.

The pure Word is the pure TRUTH, and nothing defiled. Everyone should measure him or herself by the Word. We shouldn't be judging others, but judging ourselves, to see if we measure up to to the Word of God in every area of our lives.

Faith is action in the Word. How is your faith? The Bible says about faith:

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

The Bible says much more about faith; but this isn't about your faith, but about measuring yourself 'by the Word'......are you the Living Word in action, which includes having faith.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Our goal is to be more like Jesus, to know HIM and his fullness and do likewise.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

When we have come to know Him in His fullness, we won't be tossed to and fro; and we won't be dragged from one doctrine to another, but we will live by the "WORD" of Truth, and refer to His WORD for everything in our daily lives.

Obedience is the seed that makes the Word work. If we are unwilling to be obedient to the voice of the Lord, in keeping his commandments and what he wants us to do in our lives, we will find it hard to get our prayers answered.....the WORD doesn't work unless the POWER is there - and the POWER is in obedience to Him. Obedience should deal with every area of your spiritual life - living, prayer, compassion, worship, etc.

Is your life in turmoil? Have you searched your life to see if you are living in HIS ways in every area? Do you spend time in the word, in prayer, in worship to Him every day? Today, HE and His WORD can make a difference!!

Heavenly Father, we thank you that you have provided a way to get out of the turmoil that life can bring our way, when we are unsubmissive to your will for our lives. Help us to come to you with all our cares, and show us the way to a better life, how to roll over all our cares to you, to listen to your Word in every area of our lives. Help us to KNOW you more intimately through your Word, that we will want to serve only you, be obedient to your every will for our lives, and to Worship you in fullness and in truth! We give you the praise, honor and glory due your name. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
