Who would be your choice for the "Person of The Century"? Who has influenced this world more than any other in the past 100 years?

Seems there has been a voting for a long time by a well known magazine to find out who the public would pick via the internet, voting for whomever we truly felt had most influenced us and the world. Well, folks, seems JESUS was winning, and the voting page changed!! As a recent email writer said, "I gather from this that "XXXX" has sent us a sign of the "TIMES". " HOW true!! The world isn't ready to accept that JESUS is the one that has had more influence than any other over this world than any other single person - all through history, not just the past 100 years.

If there's ever been a time to believe in JESUS, now is the time! The world doesn't understand how a Christian would vote for JESUS being the one that has most influenced this world or our lives in the past century. The things of God are only spiritually discerned; therefore, the natural man knoweth not those things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

What person, in the flesh, would have the ability to reach each and every one of us if we called upon him simultaneously? None!! Yet, our Lord Jesus Christ can and does this daily, for those who believe upon His name and trust His Word for their lives. HE is the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end. [Rev 1:8]

What human has the ability to make water into wine instantly [John 2:7-9], heal the sick, make the blind to see, instantly [Matt 15:30]? None, but Jesus Christ.

Whom besides Christ can make a change within your heart, literally doing 'surgery' without a knife? That's what happens the instant you decide to place your faith in him and his atoning grace and believe that the Word was sent to the earth in the form of flesh, in the person of JESUS, he was crucified, buried and resurrected in 3 days and now resides at the right hand of the Father. You are "born-again", become a child of the King, the one and ONLY one who is able to save your soul and give you a 'new life within'....and eternal rest in HIM!

Are you ready to tell the world that Jesus CHRIST is alive and well on earth today? Rise and shine for Him - let the world know who makes the most difference in your life. HE lives within you and he is that shining light that the world reads in your eyes, and on your lips every day of the year. HE doesn't change; he's always the same. And He can do the same for them that he's done for you. Go out and spread the gospel to a dying world, showing them they too can have this same person who has made such a difference in your life, that you aren't ashamed to say, "CHRIST JESUS is the Person of the Year" .....every year!

Heavenly Father, we go on record this day to proclaim that your Son, Jesus, is the one who has mostly influenced us in the world during our lifetime, and before. HE is the only one that credit should be given that can make the most difference in a person's life. Sure, man has abilities, but they are limited. Christ is not limited - he is the great I AM - the all-knowing, all-seeing God and there is no god above him. We give him the glory, praise and honor due his precious name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
