John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
These days you can't go one day without hearing of war or rumors of wars. Seems everyone is 'warring' against another, either by the nations, or by individuals.
Even our children have come to know war as an every day life sort of living!! It doesn't have to be a war over in another land. WAR is next door, the schools, the next town, the next state - wherever satan has
a stronghold on the people!!
There is a truth and that truth 'shall make you free'! But you have to know the GIVER of the TRUTH - Jesus Christ, the SON of the living GOD. FREEDOM came with a heavy price; GOD gave His only Son to save us
from all the world's problems, but too many times, we don't hear the voice - we only hear the world telling us about the 'next war'! We don't realize where the answer lies until it's too almost too late.
I remember when they took prayer out of the schools. WAR wasn't raged back then to keep it in, and it only took one woman that was 'strong' enough to take it out. She fought the 'system' and won!! Why? Because
those who should have been in control of the TRUTH didn't stand up and 'be counted'. THUS, our schools are reeking havoc from mistakes made years ago by Christians. GOD wants us to stand up and be counted - whatever
the cost. If we are obedient to Him and his calling, and 'seek his face', then he will hear us and he will heal our land. [ 2 Chronicles 7:14 ]
He didn't say it was going to be easy, or that we wouldn't suffer persecutions. But he did say:
Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Do we do this? Would we be in the mess we are in here in America, or other places, if all Christians acknowledged him?
Would children be shooting up the schools? Would parents be killing their own children? Would abortion clinics be rampant in our cities?
Would men and women, married for years, suddenly be getting divorces, simply because they no longer got along?
We, the people, leaving GOD behind, and trying to 'run the race' without Him and the Truth, suddenly find ourselves in places we never thought we'd be,
in situations we thought we could never wind up in, and doing things we never though we would ever do! Why? Simply because we left the GOD of our youth out
in the cold; so far behind us in 'that other life', that we don't even realize HE is gone from us. Our Spirit man has been quiet SO long, we've forgotten we
have a Spirit!! After all, today, we are told GOD doesn't speak to us any longer!! WRONG!!
GOD wants to speak to His people; it's just that his people have
gotten so busy in their 'own ways', too busy to acknowledge the giver of life, the one that can fix things in the blink of an eye, through a small prayer,
actually through acknowledge that HE is who HE says HE is, and that HE will actually do what HE says HE will do!! We forget the verse that goes like this:
"With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible." Matt 19:26.
A bit of truth today is the fact that GOD knows what's ahead for us in our lives. And, if we would "seek Him" and ask for guidance in our every day lives, He
would show us, in the WORD, how to overcome anything the adversary puts in front of us!!
2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Folks, satan is alive, walking to and fro in this world today, seeking whom he may devour!! AND he's after the Christians hot and heavy!! And he's gaining ground because some have failed to
adhere to the principles God has set before us in His Word - the doctrine HE has given us in the Bible, not some man-made doctrine, but the 'living Word' he's given with which we 'run the race' , to
overcome satan, to be 'more than a conqueror'.... to live victorious!!
Why rest on your laurels and wait for a better day to get things straight before God? You and I know that satan is out there and strong!! Why not check out the WORD today, and let satan know 'IT IS WRITTEN'
the next time HE comes against you or your family? Who would you rather have on your side, the LORD, or the adversary? Well, let's take back the things that he has either stolen or tried to steal from us and our
families by digging deep into the Word, seeking HIS FACE to find out what HE wants from us, and then being quick to do what He asks! No more excuses .... no more waiting!! GOD is waiting!! FREEDOM is yours, if
you ask.
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Let's join God's ARMY today and take back our families, our schools, our cities, our country, our nation for Him!!
He's waiting - FREEDOM is waiting!!
Heavenly Father, we are coming to you today for our 'freedom'! We know YOU and you alone have the answers. Enlighten us as we read your Word, and give us wisdom in understanding the things of this world, and show us how to use
your Word effectively to overcome the wiles of the enemy. We give you thanks right now, Lord, for what you are about to do in our lives, for the freedom we know is ours through the understanding of your Word, and the guidance
that you are giving. We give you the glory, honor and praise due your name. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
