Steadfastness

Our Thoughts:

We are met daily with evil things. Many are brought about by people who want you to get into a state of fear over things over which you should let God have control. The devil is out to steal your victory in every area. That's his job, to keep you from fully trusting in God - to get your mind off of the spiritual and on to the worldly ways of doing things. And the world's way should not be the Christian's way.

As a Christian, we should be steadfast in our faith in Jesus Christ. We should have our mind firmly fixed on the Lord, unable to be changed by world tactics or concepts.

God's Thoughts:

Psalms 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Our Cup:

Lord, help us follow you, to be steadfast in our beliefs, and not change with every whim of the world. In Jesus name, Amen.
