In Need Of A Doctor?
 Our Thoughts:
Wouldn't it be nice if one could go through life, never being sick, or having to see a doctor.
Most people will, in their lifetime, have to see a doctor on an occasion. Yesterday was one of those occasions for my oldest grandson. He began to complain
with his throat late Saturday afternoon. By yesterday, my daughter knew it was time to take him to see his pediatrician. Well, he came out with a case of
tonsillitis, or so they thought. But, today, she learned he must go back for a shot, because a culture came back as positive for strep throat.
Even in our spiritual lives, we need a spiritual doctor at times. There are those that think their soul is 'without disease', and they won't seek after help.
This was the case with the Pharisees. They thought they were well, and despised Christ. But the Publicans and sinners knew something was wrong, and wanted instruction.
If you need healing today, for anything, be it physical, emotional, or spiritual, don't neglect seeing the Great Physician, Jesus. He has the correct medicine
for any illness! Doctors are wonderful; use them when you need to, but never neglect the one that has a prescription to fit all your needs!
God's Thoughts:
Matthew 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we know that you are the Great Physician. Help us to pray the Word effectively, to reach out to you, whenever we have a need that's too great for us to bear. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
