Obedience - Disobedience

Our Thoughts:

We learned, as little children, it's safer to mind our parents, than to be disobedient. The tongue always got me! If we did things that weren't approved of by our parents, then we were punished.

Adam was disobedient in his Father's will - he and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Therefore, by his actions, we were all made sinners. Then, along came JESUS, the Son of God, who was obedient, hung on the cross, rose again, that we might be found righteous.

What does it get us, when we are disobedient to our parents, or moreso, our Heavenly Father?Where would we be today, if Jesus had not done the will of the Father?

God's Thoughts:

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, help us to be obedient to you in everything. Make us conscious of our mistakes, that we might ask forgiveness and not be caught in that mistake again. In Jesus name, Amen.
