I'm reminded of the song we used to sing at church, when I was just a child. It went:
"I stand
alone on the Word of God, the B-I-B-L-E."
Many things hold 'a truth'. Most people are very truthful, and trustworthy. We teach our children to always be honest and tell the truth. But, the world
is fickle; one day, something may be a complete 'truth', and the next, it may be shadowed with a little untruth.
The BIBLE will never change. The Word of God will stand when nothing else will. It is there from which you can draw strength daily. The Word says in James 8:32,
'you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free'. If you will stand on the whole truth of the Word, then the world can't touch you. You will be faced with the
every day trials and frustrations, but God will bring you through each and every one.

Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Word. I know, that as I study your Word, it makes me more able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I give you thanks and praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
