Obedience March
16, 2000 Our Thoughts:
When we do something we shouldn't,
we, often times, try to blame it on someone else. A child will break something, and you ask,
"Who did that?", and you get either "I don't know", or "brother did it". Even adults do it! Listen to this.
Last night, in Bible study, we got on the subject of Adam and Eve and
who was at fault when she ate of the forbidden fruit. Who do you think was at fault?
The serpent went after Eve with his beguiling words. She ate of the fruit,
and offered it to Adam; he ate of it freely. God gave ADAM instructions not to eat of the
fruit, not Eve. I think it was disobedience on the part of Adam.
Who's
running the show these days?
God's Thoughts:
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Our Cup:
Lord, help us to be obedient to your calling.
Guide us into all truth and righteousness. In Jesus name, Amen.
