To Grill Or Not To Grill
 Our Thoughts:
When it comes to hamburgers, I don't have to decide. I know that we like grilled hamburgers better than those
that are fried. It's just deciding what we will grill, and when we will grill. Many more items get grilled in this house.
And so it goes on the "Hill" today - the _grilling_ of Attorney General-select John Ashcroft. I sat and listened, and was amazed at the accusations hurled at
this guy. Yet, on every accusation, he answered with honesty and deliberate accuracy, even though the answer might have been long. Everytime he came under scrutiny and was placed on the
_grill_, he came through as a true advocate of ones' personable rights! I could almost see some of his 'accusers' doing an about-face in their seats, as he gave them a reply to every accusation,
without backing down.
The Lord expects His people to be honest, forthright, and unshamed to uphold their beliefs, when they are met with adversity. We need to be equipped, if the situation arises, to meet the opposition without fear, and with boldness!
Man may hold the key to our lives on earth, but God holds the key to our _future_!
God's Thoughts:
Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, help us be bold in the face of adversity and meet each oppostion without being ashamed to say I'm a Child of the King! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
