Where Are You, God?

Our Thoughts:

All of us have, at one time or another, been in situations where we wished God would show up, and FAST! We get a little tongue-tied, when one of our adversaries hits us with a tough biblical question, and we aren't able to respond on the spot. Our mind just doesn't seem to work quickly at times.

I can only imagine what the nominees on Capitol Hill must have been thinking, as they were thrown questions from the right and left, which seemed to undermine their own integrity and honesty, and ate away at their personal beliefs. As they sat upright, looking into the eyes of the Judiciary Senator asking the question, I am fairly certain that they felt an unrest hovered over their nomination with that senator and perhaps others. I know, if I were in their seat, I'd have been silently praying, GOD, I need you, and now! Perhaps some of those nominees were praying the same prayer!

In such times as we fear God isn't with us, we should recall, that in His Word, He said that he would never leave us nor forsake us. Yet, when met with adversities, we let fear reign in our hearts, and forget to let God control our emotions, and direct our paths - our thoughts. We need to remember that HIS SPIRIT is within us; therefore, we should not let fear control us, or let satan steal from us!
