Point of Contact Our Thoughts:
God will meet our need, but we have to have contact with Him, through some means. Some may simply act upon His word, get it in our
spirits, and believe for our healing, and it comes. Not all have come that far with God yet, that their healing comes automatically, or their burdens lifted immediately. They have not honed the process by which
they come to God. It's not the bended knees, or the uplifted arms that get results, but a true heart with God. We have to be in a state of forgiveness in our life, not holding a grudge against anyone. Our lives
have to be perfect, according to 'HIS will', not ours.
There was a woman with an issue of blood many years. It was custom that a woman was unclean, and did not dare go to the Lord, or she'd be punished! She had exhausted all her means of getting better. So, this lady did not fear what man could do TO her,
but she wanted what she felt God could do FOR her. So, she braved the crowd, and crawled through them to 'touch the hem of his garment'. This was her _point of contact_. Immediately, when she touched Him, the virtue went out,
and He knew someone had touched Him. The Bible says he turned to her, and told her 'thy faith has made the whole'. She didn't listen to man and their ways, but listened to her heart, and 'touched God' her way, and was completely healed.
Perhaps it doesn't seem so easy for you today. You need healing, and it doesn't seem to be coming your way. Fear not; find your 'point of contact', lay hold on to God's promises, and be healed, in Jesus name! It is impossible to literally touch the 'hem of His garment', but
you can reach Him by applying His Word to every problem in life.
God's Thoughts:
Matthew 14:36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, many reading today need a touch from the Master's healing hand. Show them the way to their point of contact, and help them regain life to the fullest. We give you the honor, glory and praise due your precious name. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
