You Have A Standing Invitation

Our Thoughts:

We all get lots of invitations, either by mail, or in person, to lots of things - bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, or a number of other things. Lots of those invitations want an R.S.V.P. - reply as soon as possible, in order for them to have enough of goodies for each of you. I'm one of those, that, if I have no intention of going, I just trash the invitation. They can realize I'm not there, when I don't show up; saves a stamp. After all, most of the people that send you an invitation only know you as a 'casual acquaintance' - not a close friend or relative. And, the invitations keep coming!

There is one invitation that we all have received. It's an invitation that doesn't require an answer by mail or email. It doesn't require certain dress, in order to attend. Don't worry about over running your monthly budget to get that new dress or suit. Come as you are! That is, if you choose to come. It's your choice; you'll not be made attend. The HOST believes in giving each of the targeted guests freedom in their choice to come or not.

You don't have to have a fancy car, or have a limousine in order to attend. In fact, you don't have to have any sort of transportation. The HOST will be glad to come to you, if you will accept this wonderful invitation! The standing invitation is HIS call on your life, to come to know Him as your personal Savior. He wants to give you the best gift of all - the _gift of life eternal_. It doesn't require any expensive 'wrapping' - just a willing vessel in which His Spirit can reside and be nurtured!

Who would want to turn down this exciting invitation? If you haven't accepted this invitation and met the HOST, now is the chance of a lifetime!
