2000  Our Thoughts:
I know; you're thinking, 'but this isn't Friday' - it's Monday. It sure is, all day long. But T.G.I.F. means much more than
'thank goodness it's friday'. It really means, for a Christian, "Thank GOD, I am forgiven".
When God forgives you of your sins, they
are removed 'as far as the east is from the west' and He no longer remembers them, unlike man. Satan will continue to bombard you with how
you can't truly be a Christian, because of your 'past trangressions'. And when, he does, remind him that the blood of Jesus has covered
every sin; they are no longer there on your record. You are the 'forgiven of God' and you are blessed!
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, thank you for showing us mercy, forgiving our sins and removing them completely. Help us to realize that this means that You will never bring these
sins back to our memory, and when they come, it's 'of the devil', and we need only to remind the devil of your forgiveness and that he is a liar! We come to you with thanksgiving and praise. In Jesus name, Amen.
