You hear the statement, "This is a wicked world we live in", but I disagree, to a point. Sure, there are things in this world that are very wicked. But,
it's man that has made the 'things', and the world wicked with them. Our teenagers, and even children, to some point, are met with temptations that overwhelm them. They are made fun of
by their peers, made to feel 'too good', if they don't want to indulge in something that feel is wrong, so they do it to keep friends. Adults are even driven to do things that they might
not ordinarily do, just for a good time, or to appear 'with the crowd'.
Listen, do NOT let the devil sell you a 'bill of goods'. This world is NOT wicked - but you have to be on the look out for 'wicked people' within it, that are out to bring you down,
which ever way they can. Satan is on his job, I kid you not! And, it's his job to see that each of us are given the temptations that may bring us down, keep us from serving the Lord. Don't listen, children, adults, friends!
As for the 'wicked world', GOD didn't make a wicked world. He began this world with the 'garden of eden', where there was beauty, and splendor. And, then he placed man into it, and made him a woman. Perhaps that was
a mistake (smiling). Well, God doesn't make mistakes. It was His plan for us to have a wonderful, satisfying life, while worshipping Him always. And, that's where the tempter came in to ruin the whole set up! And, man listened, and so,
came the starting of the wicked world! As the world grew, the population grew, so did the wickedness within it. Man got smarter, listened to God less, and got into trouble. There is always some that won't listen to God, no matter
what the problem, and they think all is well in 'la la land'......and keep on doing 'their thing'. Some do it until it's too late.
Satan has stolen enough of our teens, mixed up enough of their minds! But, there is one that each of them can turn to, and HE will make a difference in their lives. He's out there for everyone who will listen, and obey
his commandments. He doesn't want the 'wicked things' in this life to tear you down, destroy your life. GOD wants you to LIVE, and be free from bondage, fear, and depression. He wants to restore joy and peace to your life, to give you back
what the thief has stolen. You need only pray and ask Him to help you in your time of need.
God's Thoughts:
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we commit our lives unto you, to live for you. Help us to honor that commitment and be able to say NO to the devil. We give you honor and praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
The Shepherd King and the Sheepfold Crook!
