Faith In Your 'Rescue Pack'

Our Thoughts:

If you are in business, or a certain profession that needs certain tools for you to perform your job properly, you will never be caught without them. What would a good surgeon do without his scapel? The dentist couldn't do without his drill, the school teacher without chalk and a chalkboard, a long-haul truck driver without his log book, a painter without his brush, and etc. You get the point - without the necessary tools, the worker is lost!

The same goes in the Christian life. Without faith, you will go no place. The Bible states that it's impossible to please God without faith. Don't you know it took LOTS of faith for Abraham to believe that Sarah, at her age, would ever conceive!! Took faith for David to believe HE would have a helper when it came time to slay the Giant. Today, it still takes faith to become the true Christian that we should be - the one that believes rather than doubts God's Word. Whether we believe it or not, it is true, for his Word says it is. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word. So speak the Word daily as you read, and it will bring faith! Then you will be walking by faith, rather than relying on what you see as proof that things are going right! It's the 'spiritual ear' hearing that builds your faith, not the natural eye.
