How many of us haven't taken our cares and run with them? We let them worry us into a frenzy, drive us crazy. We think we can take care of everything by ourselves. We'd rather try than admit that we don't have the answer to all our problems.

And, surely we are guilty of admitting to God that we need help, or we ask for help with something, and then, turn around and worry about the same thing again! It's like we don't trust that God WILL and CAN take care of us. I've worried myself sick over a situation, and then realized God had given me His answer earlier, through scripture. Why can't we just place our full trust in God, and let him handle these situations?

When we take on our own cares, it brings on unbelief and mistrust of God. If we believed His Word, and we trusted that HE could do what His Word says He will do, then we'd let Him have the situation completely. We wouldn't want to bring it back into our conscious mind, but render it all to Him, so He could take care of it for us. When we don't, it distracts our minds, taking it off God and the Word, and makes a way for the enemy to attack. We need to read the Word, and take God's Word as truth, and place our trust in Him, because He does care for us.

Heavenly Father, help us cast all our cares upon you. We aren't able to take care of all the problems we face, but sometimes find it hard to relinquish them all to you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
