Is There Hope Without HIM?

Our Thoughts:

Too often we get passive in this life, without ever raising a hand or voice. We tend to let others do whatever they want - 'if it feels right, it must be right'. We should really be telling them about the HOPE they can find in the Lord. We should be running to God with our disappointments, rather than running away, or being passive. Our only satisfaction will be found in serving the Lord. Material things may bring us happiness for a time, but, in the long run, only GOD can bring us what we desire - the HOPE of a peace that we can't get from anything in our lives.

When we feel like we are failures in our lives, we can run to Him for the comfort for which we hunger. It may be hard to give up our pride and become humble, but, if we seek God with all our heart, then pride will go. We will then, begin to feel His presence in our lives. We find out quickly that our ways of doing things are not his ways. We don't think the way God thinks. Therefore, true HOPE is only found in Him.
