There have been 'relaxed' beliefs - there's no longer a standard by which one follows after God; it's as though 'anything goes'. There are teachings in the Bible against many things that are now being seen in the church, and being taught that it's okay. There are homosexuals taking over the pastorate of churches - biblical? Gays living as a 'family'? God doesn't want anyone to perish; heaven forbid. But, he has a standard by which each of us can access Him and eternity, and that is adhering to His biblical truths, one of which says, " Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." [ Leviticus 18:22 ] These aren't my words, but the WORD of God. Surely, if one believes in God, and believes His Word is truth, then, how can one derive from this text anything other than homesexuality isn't from God, nor is it blessed by God. A homosexual can be saved, but a homosexual would then have to refrain from homosexual activities.

We've been warned that, during the last days, many of these things will come to pass. The family is being degraded; you no longer have to be a husband and wife team, but a wife/wife, or a husband/husband can make it 'by law'. Gone is the day when every child could say I have a Mother/Father at home. I realize that many children do live in a one parent home, but this isn't the same as being raised by two gay people. They claim that it doesn't make any difference to a child, as to whom brings that child up. But, I beg to differ. A child follows after the example of a parent, a sibling, friends, family, and if that child sees only two fathers or two mothers in a household, how will that child no what a 'normal' family really consists of? He or she will have questions, and they will ultimately begin to question the revelancy of the Bible as the Truth. Oh, I am sure there is someone somewhere that has 'proved' that this isn't so, but, mark the Word of God - the time has come when people have strayed so far, it's going to be hard to get back to Him!

America has become more and more relaxed in society. We 'accept' things that our forefathers would never have dreamed of accepting. We are afraid to speak out, for fear of reprisal or being looked down upon for not accepting or being 'considerate' of others feelings. But, my feelings are: I have grandchilden, and I pray that none will turn out to be gay. But, if they do, I will stay stand up and say, God did NOT make gays, He forbids the activities they engage in, it's an abomination to Him, and, without repentance, and abstinence of those activities, they are in danger of being cast out on judgment day. Our God is a compassionate God, a forgiving God, but we can't do what we know to be wrong, or that which He states in His Word is wrong, and contend that we are 'living for Him'. That's an absurdity!

Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, help us to live by your commandments, and not by man's laws and rules. Guide each of us into a relationship with you, whereby we will want to shun even the appearance of evil or being wrong. We give you praise, honor and the glory. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
