Thank God It's Forever!

2000  Our Thoughts:
Yes, it's Friday, but that's not what this devotion is about. It's about being a child of the King, and being resurrected into that new life with Him.
We will no longer be in this earthly body, but we will have an immortal body, just like Christ. He is our "RESURRECTION" - he was crucified for our sins,
rose after the third day, and went to be with the Father. When the trumpet sounds, and we go to be with Him, then we will rise from death unto life - the
life that we will live 'forever'!! We are children of the 'living Christ'!
God's Thoughts:
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Romans 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, on this Good Friday, we begin to celebrate the Resurrection of Your Son. Help us to keep ourselves from evil, that one day, when you call our name, we will rise from death, into the everlasting resurrection, to reign with Christ forever. We give you praise. In Jesus name, Amen.
