The Master Plan
 Our Thoughts:
Yesterday, I had a plan for shopping. I left home, only meaning to go shopping for a dress, and be back home before dark. But, it didn't go that way. My daughter called me from her work, on my cellular phone, wanting me to
stay at the mall, until she got off work. She wanted me to go shopping with her for her children. So I did. Thus, my plans got changed.
Plans are nothing new. We all make them, from shopping to moving, from having a party, to buying a car. We also have plans drawn up to
build a new home. So, we all know about plans.
But, there is also a 'master plan' for our lives. It was planned out long before our birth - in fact, thousands of years before. God sent His Son to earth, to live as man. The plan included death and resurrection, so that we might live eternally with Him.
The plan never changes. Salvation comes through grace by faith, afforded by Christ's death on the cross. God loved His children enough to want all of them to be saved. So He sent Christ to stand in for us, to bear all our sins on the cross at Calvary. Before we were
born, He loved us.
God's Thoughts:
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the master plan, for sending your Son, to die for all our sins. Without him, we would be lost . In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
