Faith Works!

Our Thoughts:

I know you've all read about those 'faith people'. Well, I am one of those. Why? Because GOD teaches us to have faith. He teachs us to always pray, and not faint, but hold on until the answer comes. It may not come as quickly as we want, but it will come in time.

Faith comes by knowledge, and that knowledge comes by teaching and studying the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Hearing the Word of God will strengthen your faith.

Can you imagine what David would have been up against, had he lost his faith in God to bring him through the battle with the giant. He was too small in stature, to stand up to him in his own strength. He had to rely on his faith in God, that he would come through victoriously.

The woman, who had an issue of blood for years, knew that, if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she would be healed. So she chose to get close to Him, until she could reach out and touch Him. He immediately knew someone had touched Him, because virtue went from Him. She immediately told him the story, and He told her that 'her faith' had made her whole! It wasn't His faith, someone else's faith, but HER faith. The Bible says that 'faith without works is dead'. She had to do something - she believed that GOD could heal her, if only she could touch Him, so she strived to do just that! Faith is the root; fruits are the good works. Faith helps us live for God, keeps us on the right path, true to God.
