How about your prayer life? How effective are your prayers? Is God coming on the scene, when you pray? Have you noticed
changes, when you pray?
To be an effective conduit for God to others, we have to know how to pray. If we are unable to transmit our thoughts in prayer to God, then it's impossible to convey
them to others, the way they need to be conveyed. I often ask God, 'teach me to pray correctly'. I know HOW to speak to you, but am I getting through? Are my prayers in vain, or am I praying biblically?
Do I speak words of wisdom to others, or are the empty words?
Each of us, as Christians, have a duty to convey God to others through our words, and our actions. If we live a life that is pleasing to God, His Spirit within us is going to reveal God in us to
others. When Doctors are allowed to pray with their patients, they are conduits for God's healing power. Even a lay person should be able to pray and see God's healing power. God is no respector of person,
and what He does in the doctor's life, He will do in your life, if you will follow Him closely.
Many people do not want the responsibility of praying for others, or being an intercessor, so they slack off from their prayer life. But, prayer should be a staple in our every day life. Just as we need
water to live, we need prayer to survive!
God's Thoughts:
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I want to be a conduit of your love. Help me keep you in the center of my life, that I may reach others through you. In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.
