The Line Is Never Busy!

Our Thoughts:

Phone lines get me so frustrated! I dial up my ISP, and it's so slow I can't get my email. Then, I have to log off, log on again, in order for it to work. Then, you try getting out to some place in cyberspace, only to hold and hold and hold. Then, you may or may not get the page where you were going. I've had the inclination to hit the monitor before, but never followed through. A friend once told me that it wouldn't solve the problem, only cause me to have to spend more money for a monitor. How true! So, I struggle along, hoping that, one day, the phone company will put in better lines in my neighborhood. But, I won't hold my breath!

Having trouble reaching God? I can assure you it's not because of the lines! He is always available, and his line is never busy. But, sometimes, we have garbage in our lives that keeps us from getting on the line with Him. We want to get online with Him, and we haven't straightened up our lives. We have trouble with others, hold grudges, don't forgive someone, and all these things have us a little stranded out there from God. To effectively reach Him, we need to repent for those little things, and lose the pride that so easily keeps us from doing so. When we 'get clean', God will hear our call, and He will answer. So, if you haven't made 'the connection' with Him lately, why not look into your life and see where you have been missing it. Just repent and ask God forgiveness, and clean up the line between you and Him!

Psalms 4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, help me recognize anything in my life that needs cleaning up that I might reach you. Teach me your ways! In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.
