Unlocking The Well Of Your Spirit

Our Thoughts:

All of us have things that we lock up. Perhaps it's our bank box, where we put those things we want to keep safe. Or it might be a gun safe, where you keep your guns away from children. Whatever it might be, it's locked for a purpose. But, there comes a time when you take the key, and you unlock it and remove the contents to use, and perhaps replace.

As a child, you were made to study, to learn things in which perhaps you had no interest at the time. But, this was done to make you more aware of things you needed to know to make it through life, to go on to college, and to prosper in life. The spiritual life is the same. We need to get things in our Spirit, to help us in our walk with God. We do this by studying daily, reading the Word over and over, being enlightened by the Holy Spirit. We get it within our being, so that, when the enemy comes, we have the armor of God with which to fight.

We need to renew our mind daily. If not, just like we take out something from our bank box and don't replace it, the Word will slowly slip away. We will be caught one day without the necessary tools to come against the enemy.
