God Will Provide
 Our Thoughts:
Driving home from a friend's home, after dark, I noticed a cow eating grass near the road. I remarked to my
husband, "She doesn't know when to go home", to which he replied, "She is thinking, 'Nobody is here, and I'll eat all I want'". Before tonight, I had never given a thought
to what time a cow eats. I suppose it doesn't matter, since God put it there for their nourishment.
God said he feeds the ravens, who neither reap nor sow. He has provided for all animals in the wild. They all have the built instinct to hunt for food. If he does all this
for the animals, what about us?
God provided the trees that provide fruit, and all the plants that give us food. But, better than all this, He has provided His Word, which nourishes ever fiber of our being.
It gives us HOPE for the future. We can put on the armor of God to guard against the enemy. Every Word can be engrafted into our hearts, on which we can meditate day and night. This food is
rich, and provides the nourishment that will keep us always, if we 'eat' from it daily!
God's Thoughts:
Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, you have provided food for everything you have made. We give you praise for what you have provided for us, as your children. We thank you for the HOPE that is provided in
your Word. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
