A Shoulder To Cry On
Our Thoughts:
At times, the world seems to deliver everything but the good to our doorstep. We look around and see all the things that others have, and wonder, Lord,
why can't I be that successful? Why is life passing me by in the fast lane, and I have nothing to show for the life I've lived?
There are those that have problems with weight control. We can't seem to keep the pounds from coming on, although we try to watch what we eat, maybe excercise a little. But, no matter how much
we try, the weight either stays there, or accumulates more! I have this friend who has a 'chocoholic fit', each time she gets stressed out. She realizes this is a problem that she must curb, if she wants to continue
to get in shape. And, when she talks to me about the problems, she thinks she might be crying on my shoulder too much. I don't mind it, because, at times, I need someone's shoulder to cry on. We all have problems and need
a friend to listen.
There is one shoulder that is bigger than any other. The shoulder is Jesus, and He is ready, anytime you need to cry on His shoulder. He listens to your fears, your needs, or your wants. He is ready to help, when you call upon Him. Never be afraid to go to Him with
all your problems!
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 145:19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, at times, we need a shoulder to cry on. We know that, when we come to you, that you will listen to all our problems, and help us to get our life in order. We thank you for this. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
