God Is There All The Time!

Our Thoughts:

Do you often get discouraged with tasks at hand? Do you feel that you are being over-taxed with burdens that seem too hard to bear, and you just can't get ahead of things? How many times have you started something, only to quit in defeat?

Writing devotionals is not an easy task. You sometimes run out of ideas, or your brain just doesn't function properly, or your memory escapes you for a time. I know I sometimes wonder why I ever started writing them. But, then I remember that God said he'd never forsake us, never leave us. He is always there to help, if we call upon Him. He tell us to never be afraid, not to let things get us down.

When the devil is on your back, resist him, and he will flee. Don't ever give into what he says, because he's a liar. He will try anything to get you to give up, to stop, to give in to his wiles! He knows, that if he keeps on pestering a person, that most of the time, that person will get discouraged. But, God says He will be there for you, during those times, if you would only call upon Him for His help. He never leaves us, but He sits on the sidelines, letting you decide if you are able to do the thing by yourself, or if you need His help. Where the enemy is concerned, we always need God's help, and we need not deceive ourselves. Satan knows our easy spots, and how to target us in a way that gets our attention. And, if we aren't very careful, he will pull us into something that we don't want to be in, or get us to stop something where we could have been productive. So, keep your eyes open, be strong, be not afraid, because GOD is with you always!
