Our Thoughts:
So many times we get distraught over things that have happened to us. I know there have been times when someone would tell me something, and then
they wouldn't follow throught. This upsets me very much, since I am one that tries to keep my word to others.
Some may often feel rejected by friends. Have you ever had a friendship that you thought was great. Then, all of a sudden, the friend just quits calling you, quits coming around, and there is no explanation?
You may try to figure out the problem, but you never really come to a conclusion. It seems to stay a puzzle as to why the person decided they didn't want to be your friend. It becomes a struggle not to say something, because you
want to know what you have done. But, instead, you keep it to yourself, and oppression sets in.
When things of this world take over our minds, we need to give our burden to the Lord. He is the only one that can sustain us, to keep us from sinking into depression or giving up on life.
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, when our problems become to much for us, help us to know that it's time to give them to you. We give you praise and thank you for keeping us on the path of righteousness. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
