Looking For A Change?
Our Thoughts:
Have you ever looked into the mirror and wondered why anyone would look at you the second time? The enemy has a way of making us feel like
second-class citizens. When we are passed over for promotions, we think we are unworthy. Some people even make us feel like we are unpleasing to be around. I know I see people in church or in the
grocery store that make me ask myself, 'what am I doing here?' I certainly know I have a right to be any place I want, but it's just the looks that some can give you that make you wonder what is wrong.
One day we won't have to wonder anymore. As Christians, we need to keep our mind and heart set on things above, not on the things of this world. Don't worry about what others think of you, or
how they treat you. Our home is in heaven and by God's Almighty power, our bodies will be fashioned unto His glorious body - we will be changed, and the worries of this life will be gone forever. He will make us
instruments of righteousness for his service.
God's Thoughts:
Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, at times, we feel unworthy or unwanted. We need peace and understanding, that we might hold on to you, until you call us home to be with you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
