"For It Is Written"
 Our Thoughts:
Oh, how the devil has a day with us at times. He bring everything to our rememberance, all the sins we've committed in our 'past', all the things in our life that
aren't perfect, and all our fears. Satan even followed Jesus into the wilderness and tempted him for forty days! He will stop at nothing to hinder you in any area
of your walk with the Lord. He used Judas to betray Christ; why won't he use you?
Jesus, when tempted by satan, always said, "it is written". It is written in the Word that 'by His stripes, you were healed'; no weapon formed against you
shall prosper', 'with GOD, all things are possible', you're the 'head and not the tail', you are 'above and not beneath', and 'death and life is in the power of the tongue'! It would
do well to remember that last one. Sometimes our fears run away with us, and instead of praying, we suddenly start talking our 'problems'. We should, first, go before the Lord, claiming those
promises that HIS WORD says we have, as a child of the King, and cast down every fear and imagination that comes in our heads. We need to speak less, pray more!
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, Your Word says that we should not fear what satan can do to us. Help us to trust fully in your name, and claim the promises you
provided for us through the crucifixion, and resurrection of your Son. We give you praise. In Jesus name, Amen.
