Let Your Light Shine
Our Thoughts:
Tonight there will be fireworks going off at homes. Hopefully, everyone will practice 'safety first', when they shoot these fire works. There are also lots of planned firework displays in many of our larger cities across this nation. This is a yearly display, celebrating Independence Day here in America. Beautiful fireworks, every kind imaginable, of all different colors and sizes, will be going into the air, making beautiful lights in the sky. It is always a wonderful treat for the children to see the beautiful display over the city.
Just as these displays are showing off their beautiful lights, we should be letting our 'light shine' across the earth. The light within us is the Light of God, put there to show the world that God is our Saviour. Our light should be bright enough to show forth the goodness of our Lord and Saviour, to encourage them to want that which we have and will glorify God.
Has your light grown dim? Sometimes we are just 'surface Christians', and do not truly show forth the LIGHT in our lives. Our testimony isn't what is should be, at times. We should always do good works, so God can been seen in all areas of our lives. In other words, do everything to the glory of God. Let HIS LIGHT SHINE forth!

Our Cup:
Heavenly Father,help us to show your light within us in a way that will draw others to you. We give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
