Disappointments Come And Go

Our Thoughts:

We often have disappointments in our lives. We have to face such things as losing a job we loved, or losing a friendship. Most of the time, we have no control over these happenings in our lives. But, no matter what the situation, we still are upset, when a disappointment comes our way. Each of us handle the disappointments in different ways. Some will grieve themselves unnecessarily. They will stress themselves out so, that it will make them sick. Others just figure it's another 'round of life'. But, then, there are those that turn to Jesus.

When a disappointment crosses your path, you should be ready to hand it over to the Lord. The enemy will test you with all sorts of things, but, if you have put on the whole armor of God, renew your mind daily in His Word, then, you should be prepared to trust in Him wholly! Not only can he handle the disappointments that come your way, but He can give you peace over each and every one. The hurt and pain will vanish, and only memories will remain. Disappointments come and go, but the LOVE OF GOD remains! So, learn to trust in Him for everything in your life.

God's Thoughts:

Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, we need consolation when disappointments enter our lives. Help us to trust in you to give us peace. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
