Shattered Dreams
July 27, 2001

Our Thoughts:

Each of us have come across lives that are hurting that once knew God in the fullest. Satan has somehow enticed them to join forces with the world. It might be in a little point, or it might be that they have lost sight of God in their lives altogether. You know how crafty satan is; he's ever there on a person's shoulder, waiting to try and trap him/her into joining his little club, telling one that 'this is where it's at', 'this is the way you should be', 'nobody will like you if'.......all lies from the depths of hell!!

Lives shatter just as the pages of an old book. "Little pieces" of the 'life' will fall off, unnoticed for a time. But, as the days, weeks, months or years go by, it's more noticeable. The person begins to act different, quits going to church, or even wanting to talk with a Christian at all. The old book can't be put back together, but the pages of human lives can, by Christ Jesus. He came to give us LIFE, and give it more abundantly.

If you have 'shattered pages', Jesus Christ is the answer; call him now!

God's Thoughts:

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, thank you for seeing us as we are. We know that you are able to mold us back into shape when we lose sight of who we are in You, Lord. Help us to turn to you in our times of need, instead of seeking help elsewhere. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
