There are probably many arguing the statement that we were 'born to serve God'. But, if you believe in the Bible at all (many don't!), then you have to realize that God didn't just make us in His image for fun. He took Adam's rib and made Adam a helpmate (Eve) in order for him not to be alone on earth. He also gave Adam a wife in order to replenish the earth. If God had not wanted 'more children', then he certainly would have let Adam wonder around the earth on his own.

Man was made perfect, without the knowledge of evil, and put into the plentiful garden of Eden. But, along came the serpent, tempted them, and their eyes were opened. So God sent them out of the garden. And, today, in order to get back to that 'perfect' state with God, we have to recognize we are sinners, and accept His free gift of Grace and believe on Him, to be saved. Without God, we are lost and will never reach heaven. We must serve Him, to live with Him for eternity. Some say there is no God, and no eternity - that what you have here is it, and when you die, you are 'just dead'. Well, I believe in God, and I had rather be right in trusting God, than wrong in not trusting Him. Some are going to find life after death a literal 'living hell'.

God's Thoughts:

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, we need you. Some may not believe in you, but your Word says you sent your Son to save that which was lost. We thank you,that your Word is going forth to all nations, to bring believers to the Kingdom of God. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
