And So It Was And Is
Our Thoughts:
In the beginning, God made the heaven and earth. He then spoke,"Let there be", and it was. He spoke
into existence the whole universe, including every living thing. He formed man from the dust of the earth, and to dust
we will return.
God breathed breath into the nostrils of man, giving him life and a soul. 'Enters the SON of GOD' -
God sent his Son to earth as flesh, that he might deliver us all from the sins that came into existence when the first man,
Adam, disobeyed his command.
Many think that they have the right to take away life, but, in the Word, you find that GOD is the giver of life,
and only He has the right to 'take away' the breath. He can do it in an instant! Man has learned how to 'prolong' life, with
respirators, but if a man's God-given breathing mechanisn dies, then there isn't anything a man can do to bring him back to life.
One could stay on the respirator for months, years; but, if the mechanism is dead, then the patient is DEAD.
But the giver of life has given us His Spirit, which resides in this fleshly body. When we come to him as a sinner,
and get forgiveness through grace and faith, then, whether we live in this life or the next, we are truly alive!! Our Spirit never dies;
we will live on!
God's Thoughts:
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Acts 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for breathing life into this body. I will give you the glory and praise for every breath I breath! Let your words continually flow from my mouth. In Jesus name, Amen.
