It's Raining!
Our Thoughts:
What a beautiful sound, to wake up to a slow rain. It's like music to the ears, peace to the soul, and
one could sleep all day! That's what's going on in my part of the world today. Doesn't matter that it's dark outside when it's normally light, or that the day will be wet.
The rain makes you want to be lazy, and just lay around.
The rain comes from the heavens. God knows His people need rain to water the gardens, to fill the ponds and rivers, and to replenish the water supply. Rain is
needed in parts of the country where fires are rampant, mostly set by an arsonist.
There will continue to be changes in the world, but, God wants His kingdom to support itself. Through grace and His Spirit, he will send the rain in our hearts to keep it like the spring.
God wants His people to grow in love, to prosper, and to serve Him with all our hearts. What He helps grow, He wants us to use in our service to Him.
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 72:6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
Psalms 72:7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, let it rain in our hearts and fill us with your love. Help us to stay true to you and to your will for our lives. We give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
