Daily Dose of God's Word At
Barbara's EntourageWe Will Triumph
Our Thoughts:
With all the different things happening in our world today, some people will lose faith. It's hard for some to
understand that we can get through anything the enemy sends our way without worrying. Sure, the bombings of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and the loss of
the plane and passengers in Pennsylvania, was a disaster that shouldn't have happened. We feel terrible for the families of those victims, and pray that God will bring
them comfort and peace. But, what the enemy is after is getting our lives in turmoil, and keeping us from having a peaceful life. He wants to disrupt us to the point of
fear and depression. That's not the way a Christian should live.
Phillipians 4:6 tells us to 'be careful for nothing'. We should have concern, but not to the point of fear. We should be so full of the Word, and His Spirit,
that we trust God no matter what the problem. He is able to deal with the worse things that come our way. There is nothing that we will ever go through that He hasn't faced
before us. Who better to trust our lives with than someone that has withstood the test?
Looking ahead, it seems the war against these terrorists may gone on for years. But, giving it to Jesus, we can find peace and contentment now, not when the
battle is over. The anthrax scare can put fear in your heart. But paranoia is what the enemy wants, to disturb more and more of your every day lives. We can't live with
paranoia all our lives. I choose to not let the devil run my life with fear and paranoia. I choose to place my faith and trust in the Almighty
God, who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, my provider, healer, and my buckler. I have peace that passeth all understanding. Yes, I think about the after effects
of things happening, but I can't let those things disturb my trust in God, that He will see us through, and we will have victory over the enemy. We will triumph!
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 25:2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, it's my choice to trust in you. I know you are the One that will get us through troubles and trials,
give us peace that nobody else can. I choose to fully trust you and let you handle all the battles of life. I give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
