When asked about their relationship with God, people often get side tracked into talking about what their church believes, the teachings of the particular denomination, etc. Salvation is personal to each of us; we each have a choice to receive Christ as our personal Saviour, and to grow in Him through truth found in the scriptures. We don't have to think that we 'are saved' by what our church teaches, but we can have full assurance when we search out the truth in scriptures, and ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us on the meaning of a particular verse.

The Lord doesn't want anyone to miss heaven, by being mis-informed or wrong beliefs taught by man in 'His name'. Find out the Truth contained in the Word - study to show yourself approved to GOD, not man. Refuse to let man lead you astray - like the blind leading the blind.
