Hello?

Our Thoughts:

How many times has your telephone rang, you answered, and said, "Hello?", to find there was nobody on the line. Evidently, they got the wrong number and hung up before you answered, or didn't say anything when they realized it was the wrong party on the line. This happens to us repeatedly, especially with more telemarketers getting online with automated speeches!

Yesterday, I got a note from a friend, wanting to know why I was quiet. I didn't realize I had been. But, to keep her from asking today, I sent a simple "hello" email, requiring no answer - just a simple "hello, how are you, I'm fine" note among friends. Friends need no assurance that the other is a true friend; we just know it among ourselves.

Have you said "Hello" to God today? Do you consider Him your best and closest friend? Or are you afraid that you won't get an answer, if you call upon Him? I've heard people say, that, when they get up in the morning, the first thing they say is "Hello, God". It's a good attitude to take - starting your day off right with correspondence with the One that can attend to all your needs, heal your body, give peace to your soul, relieve your stress and depression symptoms, and give you eternal life.
