Draw Near To God

Our Thoughts:

All of us want to be loved. But, not everyone knows how to love or to be loved. Some will go to extensive means to find love. Little children strive on love. A child needs the love of his parents. They will go to extremes to get it, even as far as acting up because love is shown to another. They are jealous of the love shown to anyone else but them, at times. I can remember, when my children were small, and my husband would hug me. They would run to get between us, in order to push us away and get the love they thought we were showing one another.

God wants your love,too. But, he wants you to draw near to Him out of a true heart, one that comes to show Him love unashamed. He doesn't want our second-hand love. He certainly knows whether or not we truly are honest in our serving Him, or whether it's just a front. We should love Him first, and all others second.

Hebrews 4:16 tells us to 'come boldly' to the throne of grace, in our time of need. According to 2 Corinthians 12:13, there is no difference in jews or gentiles; we all have access to the throne through one Spirit. We should come to Christ with a true heart turned toward Him. 'By the faith of Him' (Christ) [ Eph 3:12 ], we have boldness and access WITH CONFIDENCE. If you are One in Him, then you should come to Christ with boldness, draw near to Him for your need.
