Run, Turkey, Run!

Our Thoughts:

This is TURKEY day around the nation. We even have a bunch of wild turkeys gracing our land. They've been out for two weeks. They come every morning and eat the corn my husband has put out for them. This is the first time in all our years living here to see a group of wild turkeys. We pray they WILL RUN, if someone fires on them - it happened yesterday morning, but, thanks to God, they missed all eight!

Yes, it's Thanksgiving once again. And, we have so many things for which to be thankful. My family is all healthy. We have a roof over our heads, clothes on our back, and food on the table. To most of us, that means turkey will be served with this Thanksgiving meal this year. We aren't cooking, but my daughter and daughter-in-law will bringing it all here tomorrow. It's also my husband's birthday.

There's another 'turkey' roaming around the land today, and it's not the edible one! It's the enemy that gobbles up your joy and peace, pounces on your happiness. He floods your life with worry, depression, misery, and tears! He doesn't like for us to ruffle his feathers, but ruffle them we must! We can't let him continue to eat at our lives - his gobble has to go now! If you don't take action today, and you let this 'turkey' continue to bother you, it will only get worse. Take action now - call upon the Lord to intervene and come against this enemy of your life! Today is the day to make that 'turkey run'!!
