Do You Have Your Ticket?

Our Thoughts:

Tickets are a part of our lives. You need a ticket to ride any transportation, whether it be, train, plane, bus, or ship. Without one, you won't gain entrance for the trip. You have to buy a ticket for a ball game, or for a movie. The one ticket you want to stay away from is a speeding ticket!

What about the 'ticket' to heaven? This ticket can't be bought with money. It's not a paper ticket that you can pass from one to the other. Nobody else can obtain this 'ticket' for you. It has to be done personally. It was purchased for each of us over 2,000 years ago by Christ Jesus. He gave His life that each of us would have an opportunity to have the 'ticket' to a new life, an eternal life with God. This ticket is the most costly one you'll ever know about, yet, it's yours for free. The only requirements are to feel the wooing of the Holy Spirit, to realize you have sinned, and then repent of those sins. Then, by faith, receive salvation by the grace of Jesus Christ. Once you've obtained your 'ticket', you'll be a 'new creature in Christ'. [2 Corn 5:17]

When you die, and God asked you why he should admit you to heaven, what would you say? You should be able to say, "I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior". And, by coming to Him and repenting of your sins, a new life in Him will be yours! You will have the most important 'ticket' of your life!
